Hello. The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center invites your members to attend a free program: “A Conversation with Bryan Stevenson” on Thursday, June 8, 4-5:30 PM at Immanuel Congregational Church, 10 Woodland Street in Hartford. An American Sign Language interpreter will sign the program

Bryan Stevenson is an attorney, professor and #1 New York Times bestselling author of Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption. A powerful true story about the potential for mercy to redeem us, Just Mercy is a clarion call to fix our broken system of justice. Mr. Stevenson is the winner of the 2017 Stowe Prize for Writing to Advance Social Justice.
