Come Help Celebrate DBAC’s 25th Anniversary!

25 years ago Elaine Ducharme, Deafblind became very frustrated with the system here in the state of Connecticut, and also knew that there were several isolated, lonely deafblind individuals seeking social functions of their own, etc.  She decided to establish DeafBlind Association of Connecticut to meet the needs of deafblind friends.  She is well known for outspeaking for deafblind persons, and giving training out in the society about deafblindness.  Due to no job available to her in Connecticut, she moved to Boston to operate the DeafBlind Contact Center.  She is our big loss!  DBAC Board is thrilled to invite Elaine to be the guest speaker at the 25th anniversary celebration.  To find more details about this function, click the flier dbac 25th year celebration 5 5 2012
