Legislative Hearing About NTD on February 16!

There will be an Appropriations Hearing on Wednesday, February 17th at the Legislative Office Building in room 2C. The hearing starts at 6:00 pm. If anyone is interested in attending the hearing to testify on behalf of the National Theater of the Deaf (NTD), they should contact Susan Keane as soon as possible at 860-240-0395 or email her at Susan.Keane@cga.ct.gov Thirty-five copies of written testimony needs to be submitted which will be distributed to the Appropriations Committee. If you cannot make it to the public hearing, you can submit a copy of your testimony to Susan Keane’s email prior to the public hearing.
National Theatre of the Deaf understands that we all are facing bad economical situation across the state and the country but it is facing the difficult budget cut that Governor Rell proposed… Do not let NTD have her 35% budget cut but please help ask the legislators for small budget cut such as 20% or lesser.
