Another Public Hearing About CDHI on February 23!

The Governor’s bill to implement her budget recommendation re: CDHI is SB 32 – An Act Implementing the Governor’s Recommendations Concerning Social Services.

Look it up on www.cga.ct.gov (fill in the bill number in the blank).

The sections of the bill re: CDHI are Sec. 20 – 27, pages 19 – 29. The language in blue is the new language. The language in red is proposed for deletion/repeal.

A public hearing on the bill is scheduled for next Tuesday, 2/23/10 at 10 AM in LOB Room 2B.

A good showing will be needed at the public hearing. If people cannot testify, they should email or call the committee members and/or local state Representatives and Senators to voice their opinions.
