Logo Contest for USA Winter Deaflympics

SIOUX FALLS, SD: The U.S. Winter Deaflympics Committee is looking for logo submissions for the U.S. Team to the 2011 Winter Deaflympics.

The logo will be used on team apparel and accessories and souvenir pins. The U.S. Team will participate in the 2011 Winter Deaflympics that will take place in High Tatras, Slovakia on February 18-26, 2011.

This logo competition is open to anyone. Submissions of qualifying nature will be passed on to the Communications & Media Specialist, who will then turn over the logo submissions in an anonymous format to the U.S. Winter Deaflympics Committee.

The U.S. Winter Deaflympics Committee will be judging based on
Deaflympics-appropriateness, creativity, originality, aesthetics, use of
space and color.

Logos should include the phrase “U.S. Team” somewhere in the design.
Another acceptable phrase is “USADSF” or “USA Team.” The selected design shall not have more than three different colors. Designs must be submitted in both .jpg and .eps formats. The entry must be your original design, and not a copy that may be subject to copyright laws.

All submissions become the shared property of both artists and USADSF. The winning artist will receive a VISA gift card of $150 for their artwork. Entries must be received by January 31, 2010. In addition to the prize, the winner will be recognized on the U.S. Deaflympics website.
