FCC Needs Your Input Via VRS (Video) Conference Call
Everyone is welcome to call or email FCC about your rights to use VRS call conference, no matter, who, deaf or hearing callers.
Here is the website for the FCC about their meeting on Dec. 17 and how you can attend the meeting online or by calling in through an
interpreter. http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/DOC-294966A1.pdf.
IMPORTANT: YOU can call and/or email ASAP and tell them FCC needs to allow conference calls thru interpreters, using whatever VRS Deaf
choose.
Chairman of the FCC is julius.genachowski@fcc.gov
Phone (voice) is 202 418-0530
There are so many wonderful reasons for Deaf to use conference calls, with each Deaf person having their own interpreter and being able to
have discussions with each other (a few examples: Deaf organization business meetings, teleconference Individual Evaluation Program meetings and many more) .
See more details in another article about this hearing hosted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
