CCOSD, Recipient of CAD’s Golden Hand Award

At Connecticut Association of the Deaf’s biennial conference including its 70th anniversary celebration, CAD Board surprised CCOSD Officers with its Golden Hand Award Saturday, November 14, 2009. President Sue Pedersen, Vice President Michael Finneran and Secretary Jeff Bravin were present to receive the lovely awards. Treasurer Basil Bracket was away to New England Deaf Senior Citizens’ meeting at Providence, Rhode Island. On behalf of the CCOSD, the board wants to repeat its gratitude and appreciation to Connecticut Association of the Deaf and National Association of the Deaf for their recognition of CCOSD for valuable contributions to the deaf and hard of hearing people of Connecticut.
